The hotel is located directly on the oceanfront, featuring a distinctive sandy white beach. It is encompassed by a lava field, with the magical Snæfellsjökull glacier in the distance. Due to its excellent location Hótel Búðir is the perfect place to host your Iceland wedding as there are numerous gorgeous locations to host your ceremony. Within walking distance is the iconic Búðir Black church, the old pier and the grassy fields with incredible views of the ocean and mountains stretching to the east. If you’d like to venture out just a little further you have black volcanic beaches, white sandy beaches, gorgeous waterfalls and incredible cliffside locations.

For over 14 years Hótel Búðir has been planning weddings alongside Pink Iceland, Iceland’s first and foremost wedding planner and the co-operation has left both parties and the couple in a blissful state of mind every time. While our expertise lies within making your stay and experience in our hotel the best it can possibly be, Pink Iceland can assist you with any and all other aspects of your Iceland wedding. They know everything about the paperwork you need to get legally married and can work on finding you and booking the perfect ceremony location, officiant, photographer, florist, entertainment, transfers and anything else you need for your wedding. They know the ins and outs of Hótel Búðir and how to best work within the spaces we offer.

Hótel Búðir offers a total of 49 rooms, including one Master Suite, three Suites, three Family Rooms, four Superior Deluxe Rooms, eight Deluxe Rooms, 16 Superior Standard Rooms, eight Standard Rooms, and seven Loft Rooms.
All rooms are sold as double rooms but can also be used for single occupancy, and some can accommodate a third person upon request for an additional fee.
Prices vary based on the season and the number of rooms reserved.
